Passing of Gene Mackey
Gene passed away on Tuesday, 20 July and he will be missed. Gene joined the Moose in 1991 and became a Legionaire in 1997. We had a great celebration of life in his honor on Sunday, July 25th and I think that is the most people I heve seen in the lodge room. Gene and Wanda were the first people Sherry and I met when we moved here in 2007 and they were best of friends right off the bat. Gene and I went motorcycle riding, played golf (gotta love them trees), and then there was Karaoke, sometimes pronounced scaryoke. We had some great times and he will be missed by all. Hello, My Name is Rick Bjorkdahl. I spent 28 years in the Navy and retired in 2007. I took over as the Administrator in October of 2007 and have been plugging along ever since.
